I am trying to program a pair of MAX9560s with POF files on legacy hardware. The hardware has been in production since 2000 and the test logic was developed in 2008. In 2008 I used MAX PLUS 2 and a Byte Blaster in Windows XP. Today I have to use Windows 10 without a LPT port. I have tried Quartus 7.2 and 8.1 with the USB Blaster 2. The programmer detects the chips on the JTAG but Quartus does not support the POF files for the MAX9560. Is there any option available for programming the MAX 9000 with the USB programmer?

Hi AGRAN21,
USB Blaster II does not support MAX 9000 series. USB blaster support MAX II, MAX V and MAX 10 device.
For MAX 9000 device, only Byteblaster II cable is supported.

Hi WolfGang,
Thanks for the confirmation! I'll have to find a ByteBlaster 2 online. I think I still have the old XP computer with MAX+PLUS 2 on it!
