I have installed Quartus II version 7.1 on my personal computer
the evaluation period was 30 days, now expired and gives me that error
Error: The evaluation period has expired; therefore compilation and simulation support are not available until you specify a valid license file.
Please tell me what to do to get the license file and make my software up and running
Thanks
Ahmed Shaaban

Hi Ahmed35,
Thanks for posting your concern on the forum. Kindly note that our team provides support on Getting Started questions for Intel® oneAPI Toolkits, Intel® Parallel Studio XE and Intel® System Studio. Due to that the query is outside of our scope of assistance. However, please be rest assured as we are routing the post to the correct team.
Since your query is related to the Intel Quartus® Prime software licensing, we are moving this topic to the 'Intel® FPGA Software Installation & Licensing' community for further assistance.
Have a nice day ahead!
Regards,
Soumya

Hi
You may get to access to free license at https://licensing.intel.com/
Guidance: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/programmable/licensing/online.html --> 15. Signing Up for an Evaluation or Free License
Steps:
1. Select Sign up for Evaluation or Free Licenses.
2. Select the Evaluation or free license product that you want to sign up.
3. Enter the number of seats in the # of Seats column.
4. Select the Terms of Use checkbox to accept the terms of use.
5. Click Get License.
6. Add one or more optional license features.
Note: This option is only available when an evaluation or free license has optional
license features configured to it.
7. Assign a computer that you have previously added to your account or add a new
computer.
