Any update here? There have been a couple email communications, but that has stopped. Our engineers are anxious to begin using this.

Hello
We notice that the path to modelsim daemon is not mgcld.exe. Could you change this Example:
SERVER myserver 0123456789ab 1800
VENDOR alterad ./alterad port=1801
VENDOR mgcld ./mgcld port 1802
If you don’t have the latest version of daemon, you can download here https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/support/support-resources/download/licensing/daemons.html

Actually, even though I restarted the service, that did not help, but a reboot seemed to help. I am now seeing the below. I will have an engineer test to see if they can check out a license in the morning.

And latest update from engineer:
I can start the Modelsim UI (non-student version), and it appears to compile the code, but when I try running the simulation, it tells me the following features can't be found:
alteramtivlog
alteramtivsim
In status as last posted, we can clearly see that 2nd license is available, but not the alteramtivlog
Users of alteramtivsim: (Total of 5 licenses issued; Total of 0 licenses in use)

Well, I had replaced this previously and restarted the service, but apparently it needed a server reboot. All seems to be working now.
I am glad we got to resolution, but this is something that could have been resolved in a brief call or web session instead of 10 days of back and forth while our engineers sat idle. I really wish Intel would reconsider their support model. Forums serve a purpose, but when you have paid support ....
