Problem running ModelSim Intel FPGA Edition.

I am getting the following errors when I run Modelsim:

Hello Welcome to INTEL forum. Referring to error message (License Issue: Cannot checkout an uncounted license within a Windows Terminal Services guest session) looks like you are using remote session. From my understanding, if you are accessing a machine over a remote desktop session, you need a Floating style license. You can contact our nearest Intel sales person or distributor about converting existing Fixed locked licensing or obtaining new floating licenses. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/buy/intellectual-property.htm Our sale and distributor team shall review and respond to your request.

Hi CHatz,

Yes as AAbd mentioned remote desktop is blocked for Windows RDP if you are using a mobile compute license. However the good news is that any other remote desktop tool such as TightVNC, logmein, teamviewer etc all work fine.

PS publishing your license is not a good idea, it is fairly easy for somebody to spoof your MAC address.
