Hi
When I try to run my project as Hardware in a DE2 board, I get the following message: Using cable "USB-Blaster [USB-0]", device 1, instance 0x00 Pausing target processor: not responding. Resetting and trying again: FAILED Leaving target processor paused Does anyone knows what it means? ThanksLink Copied

There can be several causes:

bad clock input, or no clock at all
bad polarity on the reset signal, that keeps the CPU stuck in the reset state
design not meeting timing requirements
no license for the CPU, and the Opencore evaluation window has been closed (if you don't have the license, don't click on the 'Cancel' button).
Thanks for your response. I built the SOPC design in quartus II v7.1. Then, I tested with a program written in Nios 7.1 and it worked fine. However, I am testing it now on quartus II v10 and I get the message. Is there any process I should do when importing a project from an earlier version? Thanks Juan- Mark as New

Did you regenerate the SOPC system in Quartus 10 before recompiling your design?
