send image from pc to fpga and receive back to pc

  Anyone can give suggestion of send image to fpga for image processing and get back output to pc using quartus ii ?  Thank for anyone that answer my question.

Thank you for answering my question. 

 Sorry that I'm still don't had the idea to using method that you given.   I had done the gaussian filtering using vhdl code. Then change image to text file and tested by using testbench for modelsim. But now I don't know how to implement it in the de2 board.  Can I had some example code or step to do this?  I'm still new to doing this project.
