A delightful program from BBC Radio on Fortran. Downloadable for the next three weeks: http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/radio4/codes/r4codes_20150406-1400b.mp3

Excellent, it would have even better if there was stronger stress on the continued relevance of Fortran and its current applications.
And it will be cool if the transcript of the audio podcast becomes available at some point (perhaps it already is).

I don't see that transcripts will be available. The main page for this series is http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/r4codes

Hi Steve,
Thank you for posting the link to the pod cast. It is well done and very interesting. I like the analogy of Fortran to playing music.
Regards,
Greg
