We purchased Intel Visual Fortran Composer XE for Windows and the support for the license expired in January 2011. I'm trying to install the version that we purchased, but it tells me the license file is invalid. Can I install the software even though the support is expired or do we need to buy a renewal or a new license?

Yes, you can, as long as you install a version released before your support expired. If you log in to the Intel Registration Center it should show you the latest version you're eligible to install. Are you installing using a serial number or a license file? If the latter, where did it come from?
