It wanted me to select a new password from an E-mail, but
when I get it, it was a garbled set of characters of length 13,
including @, < and >. I thought it was usually 8 characters long.
Anyway, cutting and pasting what it sent several times did not work.
I had to give up and answer the security question.
Why can't it just be an 8 character alphabetic and numeric password?
Do they have to go ape ****?

I don't know - I'm subjected to a much more stringent requirement. But I did read once that the required "strength" of the password depends on the type of account you have with Premier Support.
