Failing in attachin files

I try to make a posting with a 15 k zip-file as attachment and I fail again and again. After clicking on Attach Files and Post Message nothing happens. What's going wrong?

This bug has been around from, I think, day 1. It seems that either length of the message or a timeout between starting typing and attaching triggers it -- usual workaround is to post a short followup with only the attachment.

As a test, I'll try to post a followup with a long timeout and a small zip file. (If you see it, it means I didn't succeed to trigger it).

I managed to reproduce it -- the original test message, which you haven't seen, was rather long -- it was 2-3 kB long. Attachment of a file failed (the button just does noting). When I shortened the message body, it passed through.
