The premium support people told me that if I want to integrate VS 2008 with IVF 11.0, I have to uninstall it first. However, when I ran the setup.exe to do so, it crashed my system.
Now the system is in a state where it thinks I've already launched it, so it refused to launch it again. But it didn't finish the job. The IFORT line command still runs just like nothing happened. At least that works, but I want to integrate with my VS 2008 eventually.
I haven't gotten any feedback on this, so I assume the premium support people are clueless. Do you know someone who might have an answer?

Is it safe to just delete the directory and all its contents, since the uninstall won't work?

Bill, if you think Premier Support people are "clueless", then you're including me in that. What's your issue number so I can look it up?
What exactly were you told? Which setup.exe did you run? Which "it" are you referring to?
