I have had an evaluation copy of
Intel® Parallel Studio XE 2016 Composer Edition Fortran
for almost a month, and now I want to buy it.
I found the "buy" process on the Intel web site, but there is nowhere that I could see to indicate that I already have the evaluation copy.
I presume that all I need is a serial number.
Is the "buy" process the same whether or not I have an evaluation copy?

Yes, it is. You don't even have to reinstall - just open the Intel Software Manager on your PC, select the product you bought and click Activate.

Thanks Steve, I was able to buy and Activate.
(After about 20 minutes the confirmation email from isp has not yet arrived, but the serial number on the printable receipt did the job.)
By the way, the "Intel Software Elite Reseller" for Canada listed at:
https://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-software-products-resellers/
...their web site does not seem to work, and the email address bounced!
(I didn't try phoning.)
