Greetings to all,

I initiated an upgrade from my earlier version of OneAPI set of toolkits including HPC toolkit under visual studio 2022 ver17.8.   While the Base tool kit went through without any issues.  In the earlier version of Visual Studio ( version17.1),  I could integrate intel FortranIMG_2146.jpg and use this without any issues in addition to c++ and Python.

I am getting the following error.  Log file can be enclosed on hearing from you.

With warm regards

It wasn't the Fortran component that failed. You could ask in oneAPI Registration, Download, Licensing and Installation - Intel Community , or maybe try uninstalling everything, including Visual Studio, rebooting, and then reinstalling.

Thank you Steve for your kind feedback.  I agree that this is more of an installation problem rather an a Fortran issue.   I have been trying this from 25th December (Christmas Day). I deleted all including old Visual Studio (that was updated to version 17.8, some time during early December 2023 ) and all old toolkits of OneAPI including Base toolkit and HPC toolkit.   Tried this installation thrice, but the error persists.

I will raise  this issue with OneAPI registration as well as others as advised by your good self.

Please note: By the way, Microsoft Windows 11 hinted/prompted me to upgrade to the higher version of Visual Studio.  Since my work also deals with python, I did not realize that Intel Fortran Compiler was not working after the Visual Studio upgrade.
