I go to that local link, and it lists a bunch of topics,
but when i click on one, it says "topic cannot be found."
Then it says "have you installed HELp locally?"
But there was never any option to do that.
It was not given as a choice when I downloaded the Fortran.
What happened to the HELP I had with build 7?
Why can't they get this right?

I went back an hour and 1/2later, still the same thing.
Did you try to look at any sub-topics?
I get the INDEX SHELL, but there are no readable topics anywhere.
It did say "installation complete," and there were only three things to install:
(1) The compiler (861 Mbytes)
(2) read me file
(3) release notes
But what I had with Build 7 was fine, soI don't
see why it should destroy what was already installed.
You would think an obvious problem like this would ba caught with a minimal amount of testing
before it was put out for the users.

Bill,
We do extensive testing, including testing the help. Unfortunately, the interactions with Visual Studio are complex and some users have problems despite all our testing.
Please try an uninstall and reinstall of Fortran and see if that fixes the problem for you.
