Colleagues,
We have a new team member who could profit from some introductory/overview material regarding Visual Studio and the Fortran compiler integration: building a new project (solution), VS editing and exe generation process, and so on. Tutorials (explained step by step) or Videos. Can anyone make some recommendations?
Thanks in advance,
David

A "Getting Started" guide is installed along with the compiler. You can find it at [install-dir]\documentation_2017\en\ps2017
There aren't videos at present.

Steve.
Are videos on YouTube including some which are based on your presentations legit? If yes, these could be a place to start for OP.

Huh - did not realize someone had uploaded those to You Tube. They're on the Intel site somewhere... That video assumes some basic familiarity with the concepts. A long time ago I did an introductory video based on VS2005 - while it would still be good, the tutorial pretty much walks you through the steps.

Steve, I had a vague memory of that webinar you did but could not find a record of it. The UTube upload (https://youtu.be/xwiI4Ndhb4M) is only fair quality, and the 1st part is badly chopped. Do you know if the original is still around? I cannot find it.

The original is at Learn to Be An Intel Visual Fortran Power User! but that particular page experiences some sort problem and does not fully load. I reported the issue to the IDZ team.
