I am running an XP sp3 system on an AMD XP 2500 (sse2 is supported) and I already have VS Studio 2008 installed. I am trying to eval the Fortran Compiler, but it tells me I must have an, "Inte Pentium 4 processor or later, or a compatible non-Intel processor."
From what I can tell in the knowledge base, my CPU should be okay. Is there a way around this in the installation. I am trying to install 11.1.046 Update 2?

Steve you are correct. I read the wrong specs on my CPU. Sorry :(
The barton core from amd does not support sse2, so the pre-req error is legit.
Will have to repurpose another machine for this test.
Thanks,
Ryan
