Hello -
I have noticed when I have the "Intelligard" feature turned on, nothing can get done re building or running my Fortran app. Everything runs 50 times slower.
It hangs during the "Embeeded manifest step" for example.
I can tell the spyware to ignore certain EXEs, but which ones? Simply turning it off
allows viruses to creep into my system.
So, there is a list of exceptions I can tell it to ignore, but not sure which ones..
Any ideas?

Check their FAQ.
Also, does this app have a log file. A file that lists the offending program and the file it is attempting to modify. If so then you will know what to use as an exception.
