VS2005 hangs with installation of Intel Fortran 11.1.054

I just installed 11.1.054 on top of my Fortran 10.1.021 in Visual Studio 2005 without the SP1 and QT. Whenever I try to add a new fortran project to my solution, Visual Studio hangs while creating the project and nothing shows up. I've been trying to uninstall everything and reinstall VS2005 and Fortran. Does Fortran 11.1.054 need the VS2005 SP1 installed to work correctly. If it does I will also have to apply a hotfix for it to work correctly for QT also. Any suggestions on how to get 11.1.054 to correctly install and integrated with VS2005. Thanks.

11.1 does not require VS2005 SP1 but it is highly recommended. I do not recall seeing other reports of this problem. Please do apply SP1 and see if it helps.

How About Fortran 11.1.060. I'm trying to download that now and will install that instead of 11.1.054.

I certainly recommend keeping current, and 11.1.060 is the latest. Let me know how it works for you.
