There is no version of Visual Studio supporting that combination for 64-bit development. You can develop from the command line by installing the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Platform SDK. However, if yoi use Visual Fortran 9.1 (or better, 10.1), you can use Visual Studio 2005 or, with 10.1, 2008.

Thank you for your help. Can I upgrade to 9.1 from the intel website or do I need to buy it? If I upgrade to 10.1 do I still need to buy visual studio or does it come with it? Sorry for all the questions but the information I have found has only confused me.

I looked up your license and its support term expires in 2009, so you are eligible to download version 10.1 which includes Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Premier Partner Edition. Log in to the Intel Registration Center and you should see this available to you.

Since you purchased a version 9.0 license (in 2008!), you have to request access to a version with Visual Studio 2005 Premier Partner Edition, which will allow you to use the product on XP 64. Let me know if you need that.

The upgrade sound like a good idea. I tried the link you gave me and the log in option on the page is an invalid link. Is there another routine to log please? Yes please I would like to have the version with Visual Studio 2005 Premier Partner, please let me know how I get at that too.

Thank You

Caroline

Caroline,

I don't understand the issue of the "invalid link". If you need help logging in, please see https://registrationcenter.intel.com/RegCenter/SelfHelp.aspx and choose the "Chat with an agent" option.

I will put in the request for Visual Studio for you.
