Where/how do I submit this?????

My project generates an internal compiler error using ifc, i would happily submit a report to intel, but I can't figure out how to. Premier support wants a serial number, but I am using an evaluation copy.

Suggestions?

Matt.

As it was explained to me, if you got an evaluation CD, a serial number was provided with the CD. If you downloaded it, you should have received a serial number in the e-mail acknowledgement of your download request. You use the serial number to register for support.

For example, I just requested the download and got e-mail that said, "Thank you for evaluating Intel Fortran Compiler for Windows*. This product evaluation will expire on 2003/01/18. For future reference, your serial number for this product evaluation is xxxx-xxxxxxxx."
...
"If you haven't registered for Intel Premier Support, you can do this at any time by visiting <>. Select either "Log in to My Account", if you have an existing Registration Center or Intel Premier Support login ID and password, or enter your email address and select "Create a New Account". Once you log in, select "Register a New Product". You will be prompted for the serial number (shown above) and the date of purchase (enter today's date)."

I am not aware that Intel has a process for registering purchase of CPUs or other hardware items such as motherboards, WiFi adapters, etc. For our software development products, which is what Intel Software Network is about, there is the Intel Software Development Products Registration Center, but it doesn't sound as if you have bought one of those.

So, enjoy your new CPU!
