do the intel fortran support defined input/output?

I want to write a object of a derived type and i looked up the fortran2003 handbook,  I think the "Defined Input/Output" can handle it. But i cannot compile the example in the "Defined Input/Output" sector. do the intel fortran support defined input/output?
