Has Intel considered offering a free version of the compiler to full time registered students for Windows? I know that you can get a free version for academic/non-commercial use for linux, but I don't believe this is possible for windows users.
Microsoft now offers the full versions of Visual Studio 2005 and 2008 completely free of charge for full time students, and I was wondering whether Intel would be following their lead.
Many thanks,
Tracy

It has been discussed, but I don't know of any current plans to offer that. We do already offer a very low cost package of our compilers and libraries to students. I will pass along your request to the folks who decide such things.
