Hallo,
Is it possible to integrate the Intel Visual Fortran Compiler into the Micrsoft Visual Studio (2005 or 2008) without any problems? Will I be able to create a fortran DLL ( without comand lines)? Can I use the Visual Studio GUI? Which Intel Visual Fortran Compiler Version do I have to buy?
Thank you for your help!
Best regards

"Is it possible to integrate the Intel Visual Fortran Compiler into the Micrsoft Visual Studio (2005 or 2008) without any problems?"
Yes. Most of us have had no problems, just ensure you have the latestVStudio service packs installed. Also VS should be installed first, then the Fortran.
"Will I be able to create a fortran DLL ( without comand lines)?"
Yes.
"Can I use the Visual Studio GUI?"
Yes
"Which Intel Visual Fortran Compiler Version do I have to buy?"
Well it's usually advisable to buy the current version (v11)

In the Windows case, you have the choice of the expensive one including Visual Numerics IMSL library, but you gave no indication you have any use for that.
You don't have a choice on whether to buy the current version. Even if you got an older version from stale stock somewhere, you would be entitled to download newer or older versions. You get both the 32-bit and 64-bit compilers, so you don't have to make a choice until you install. 11.1 will be issued soon, and you will be entitled to download it; no need to wait.
The free Visual Studio Express versions support only 32-bit add-one compilers, with no GUI. We assumed you aren't talking about that one.
