user-friendly plotting programs?

hello,

I am new in Intel Visual Fortran (9.0) and also in Fortran 90-95-2003. I had experience in fortran 77.But as all you know, it was hard to plot something in fortran 77. Now, I am learning IVF and new fortran programming language.

I would like to draw 5 plots on a single XY graph in Fortran. Would you please suggest user friendly plotting programs in Fortran for IVF?

I made a research on web, It seems the most popular one on plottingis Matfor for Fortran. But I could not be sure. As far as I know, there is Intel visual array. Which one is easier for use? May be there can be some other programs.

Also would you please give sample code for plotting for both programs and necessary change in the IVF 9.0?

Thanks in advance

If you do not want to use those QuickWin routines supplied with IVF, here are a few proposals:

DISLIN - http://www.dislin.de/

SCIPLOT - http://www.microglyph.com/

GINO - http://www.gino-graphics.com/home/home.htm

WINTERACTER - http://www.winteracter.com/

MATFOR - http://www.ancad.com/

Intel Visual Fortran 10 includes a SCIGRAPH sample that provides routines for doing various kinds of 2-D plots, including X-Y. I am not sure why, if you are new to Intel Visual Fortran, you are using a two-year-old version.
