************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Sorry that you're running into problems with Intel GPA.
To help track down the problem:
- Would you be able to include the output from GPA Monitor's "About..." screen (right-click on the GPA Monitor icon to see this option)? This will give us more information about your specific configuration.
- Does the problem occur when attaching to any game/application (including the GPA sample), or only a particular game?
- Do you have any anti-virus software installed?

I've not heard any response back from you, but I wanted to check on the status of this issue. Is this still a problem for you, or have you been able to resolve it on your own?
The reason I'm asking is that I've seen issues such as yours when an anti-virus program is running. Another customer mentioned a similar problem, so I'm wondering if you are running Symantec Endpoint Protection? Please let me know more details and I'll try working with the GPA Development Team to help resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance for your response.

Neal

Here is another suggestion for you... please try removing MonitorConfig.xml from the GPA 4.0 directory in your user area, then rerun GPA Monitor. Also please check the permissions on this file to see if it is accessible by at least the user/game you are testing.
If this still does not work, then also include a copy of the MonitorConfig.xml file for us to examine.
Thanks!
Regards,
Neal
