Hi Raph,
Seem like you are confuse between functional simulation and timing simulation.
If you would like to do timing simulation, you can easily static timing analyzer in quartus --> tool
Speaking of functional simulation you can use Questasim for 21.1 Lite edition. Specify the directory properly that should be working.
Modelsim no longer available in 21.1 Lite

Hi Raph,
That should be in /21.1/questa_fse/win64 since you are using free version.
fse is free version but you still need to generate license. Can take a look below link how to do so.

Hello guy
I had followed this video step by step to get a license file and set the LM_LICENSE_FILE variable, and also set the license file path, and also done the Tools license setup, but the Quartus system still CAN'T get the license file.
It seems many tricky.

Hi Raphaier,
May I know if reinstallation the Quartus resolve the issue? Reinstall and go through the same step as in the video again. Let me know about that.
If still persist we can have a quick call to sort this out. Let me know about that as well
