I want to use L-and H-tile Avalon Streaming Stratix 10 PCI Express Hard IP as Root Port for my design.
I am using Intel Stratix 10 GX development kit (1SG280LU3F50E3VGS1) and I have used Quartus Prime Pro 17.1 version. But as mentioned in the User Guide Quartus 17.1 version does not support PCIe hard IP as a Root port
I have also tried with Quartus Prime Pro 21.2 version, but I am not able to find the 1SG280LU3F50E3VGS1 device in the device list.
So can anyone please let me know, which Quartus version I have to use for the 1SG280LU3F50E3VGS1 device?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Intel Stratix 10 is not supported Root Port design in the latest version.
https://www.intel.com/programmable/technical-pdfs/683361.pdf
and 1SG280-S1 (1SG280LU3F50E3VGS1) has been removed starting Quartus Prime Pro edition 18.0 above. (refer release note)
Seems that currently, we do not have any workaround if the user needs to use the Root Port design using the stated device.
My suggestion is , if your business has reason enough to justify that Intel PSG shall invest in providing RootPort design for Stratix 10 device, I do suggest you to work with your representative FAE/sales to submit this features request.
Do apologize for any inconvenience caused to you.
