Hi,

trying to running an application with Intel SDE 7.21.0 tool which includes newest pin tool Pin 2.14 kit 72480 but still don't know if because Windows 10 RTM or app compiled using VS2015 RTM get an error:

Pin 2.14 kit 72480
E:  DBG_TRACE: Unexpected debugging event: EXCEPTION_DEBUG_EVENT: ExceptionCode  = 0xc0000005, ExceptionAddress = 0x77a81243, Instruction = 418b01a9f8fffeff0f85a40000002501
E:  Incompatible operating system or incompatible software installed on the system
E:  Pin is exiting due to fatal error

Can get a new pin/SDE build with Win10 and VS2015 support?

thanks..

It has been more than 4 months since this comment and no notice about the newer version.

When are you releasing the new version with w10 support and VC14?

The release from 2015-09-10 included support for Win10 desktop applications.
We since released 2 updates that improved the support.
Please try the latest version.

The last release was on Feb 03, 2015 (Revision number 71313). I can't see any newer one. Can you send me the link for the new one you are speaking about?

Thank you

I meant PIN. https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/pintool-downloads

It has been almost a year since the last release.

Yeah, I need both VS2015 and Windows 10 support. So PIN is currently useless.
