Are there any known motherboard and bios versions that allow me to develop using TSX with Haswell-E?
Or, has the Haswell-E already had TSX permanently disabled?
Or, has no disabling taken place yet at all?
I really want to know so I can decide what to purchase.
Thanks

TSX instructions have a bug which is impossible to fix by microcode.
Haswell-E, just like Haswell and Haswell Refresh has that bug too.
Probably the first versions of Broadwell for mobile will have that bug too.
So, wait for desktop Broadwell in one year from now to get involved with TSX

The bug was the reason I was asking. I have been using TSX on Haswell since it was introduced. I want to continue development, but on a bigger processor, thus Haswell-E.
So, if anyone knows, how can I do this?
Do I need a Xeon, or i7? Or, some brand of motherboard with older bios?
Many news websites claimed that developers could keep the broken TSX on Haswell-E, but gave no concrete details on how.

Yes on Haswell-E and Haswell-EP there is the ability to continue to work on development with Intel TSX.
