HOWTO use IPP to detect voice in audio stream?

I can't find any simple ipp code sample that detects speech intervals in audio streams or files. I don't need speech recognition, i need only speech detection. I have only found speech codec samples here: http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/code-samples-for-intel-integrated-performance-primitives-intel-ipp-v61-library/

May be I should use VAD functions. But it is difficult to undestand which way I should do it to find speech moments in audio streams. Can you help me with it?

Anatoly, We have legacy spuport for VAD functionality in older versions. However, from 7.0 on those samples are no longer supported. Thanks, Chuck

We have license for IPP 6.0 in our company. It seems to me that there is VAD in that version. But still I have no idea yet how to solve our problem of detection speech chunks in audio stream by means of ipp. And searching queries like http://www.google.ru/search?q=speech+detection+site%3Aintel.com and others of the kind don't help me much. Keeping in mind, that "We have legacy spuport for VAD functionality in older versions. However, from 7.0 on those samples are no longer supported.", where can I find more information about your previous version features in speech recognition?
