hi

i used ijl15.dll + ijl.h + ijl15 for jpeg data compression. Can i do data compression in any other way which is more efficient .Am using VC 6.0 and windows2000.

Hi,

I recommend you to take a look on IPP JPEGView sample, it contains codec which we will continue to improve. This codec already has many features wich are absent in our old IJL library. These features are:

-extracting Exif meta data

-threading in decoder

-lossless JPEG support

-optimization for the latest Intel processors, including Itanium and IXP
