Dear all,
i have built clusters with intel server broad SE7230NH1 and connected them with cisco switch (gigabit) .
However, after some calulations, the results seem that the communitcation time is extremely long. Maybe, the cisco switch is not compatible with the chipsets. therefore, i have fixed the switch to gigabyte speed.
Meanwhile, i also want tofix the On-broad lan (Integrated Intel 82551QM Gigabit Ethernet controller supporting 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX) to gigabitto ensure full dulplex
Thanks!!

For that you need to contact a hardware engineer, as it is going to be a bit difficult for all the members here. Also, you could have a word with the CISCO Tech Support, they will surely help you out. Also if you want to learn about this switches in details, you should gain the Routing and Switching certification offered by the CISCO.
