First I'd like to say THANK YOU for the fixes in the Intel_Edison_Setup_Mac_v2016.2.013.app
It's much more reliable and faster as well.
The source directories liked by the downloads page (https://software.intel.com/en-us/iot/hardware/edison/downloads IoT - Intel® Edison Board Download | Intel® Software ) for the 3.5 release are empty, however, so I cannot built an image based upon the current release.
http://iotdk.intel.com/src/3.5/edison Sources – GPL/LGPL source files
Are the source files available via a public git repository, hosted on Github, so I can can clone and open pull requests where required?
That would be ideal.
Thank you Pablo.
Why does this /thread/100636 keep happening, and will it continue to happen in the future?
Last time it looks like it took nearly two months to get the source code out...
I understand that this might be bothering for some of you, and I apologize for the issue. As soon as I have some updates I will let you know through here.
I was able to build successfully with Ubuntu 14.04 in a Docker container.
If Intel can confirm that I'm legally allowed to publish my work to Dockerhub, I'd be happy to do so.
Could you share your steps to generate it.
What files did you download and what steps did you take?
I've myself tried to build it on 14.04 running on Hyper-V using iot-devkit-poky.zip.
My attempt ended in a build error from a missing git repo at git://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/paho/org.eclipse.paho.mqtt.c.git
