9dof block on arduino expansion board for edison

Hello,

i would like to pose a question about a project which I have to do for the my university.

I have only intel edison, 9dof and the expansion board for arduino, can I program the sensor directly on the board? Can it work?

If it doesn't work, can I program the intel edison without the sensor on the board and afterwards take edison away from the board and stick the sensor on it with th battery block?

The professor gave me only the edison with the expansion board and the 9dof block.

Thanks.

Hello Mattia,

Thank you for your interest in the Intel Edison board.

We haven't tested the Edison with the 9dof block but I believe you should be able to program both of them while they are attached on the base block.

On the other hand I believe you need a sparkfun base block, unless the sensor can be attached along with the Edison on the Arduino expansion board.

You can also find a guide here for assembling an programming: https://lasr.cs.ucla.edu/classes/edison_tutorials/sensor.pdf

Hope this helps.

Regards,
