Atom used in Edison

Hello !

I have a few questions related to the Edison. I am a newbie here, so if this has been posted in the wrong location, then my apologies in advance.

  1. Where can I get the datasheet for the Atom used on the Edison?
  2. Importantly, I would like to know if this atom supports HPET or TSC for an application I am planning to make with this board.
  3. What are the other high-precision timers on this atom?

Thank you in advance for your replies (and help!).

Thanks

Hello S.Sharma,

Unlike Galileo, the Edison's SoC is not open hardware so the Atom's datasheet is not public available. All the available documentation about Edison can be found in the following site: https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/www/us/en/do-it-yourself/support/maker/edison/edison-documents-and... Intel® Edison Boards Hardware Support

Regards,

Diego.
