Auto-Start a Arduino sketch at boot on Arduino breakout board

Jump to solution

I have a problem running a sketch on this board after uploading, the sketch will not run automatically when the Edison powers up.

I used de fix described in the book "Getting Started with the Intel Edison" basically using the program WinSCP to change the Properties

of the file sketch.elf X-checkmarks permissions set for Owner, Group and Others.

After reboot, using the PWR button, the sketch is not starting any more. What need to be done more?

Hi Charlie,

Thanks for Your responce, but before Your answer, I found a working solution on the net which can be usefull for others:

https://software.intel.com/en-us/blogs/2015/08/01/procedure-to-autostart-the-arduino-sketch-on-ediso... Procedure to Autostart the Arduino Sketch on Edison | Intel® Developer Zone

This is working for me , so I wait for a new image release where this problem is solved.

Paul.
