Autocomplete / intellisense mraa library

Jump to solution

How do i get autocompletion or intellisense in PyCharm like this for the https://github.com/intel-iot-devkit/mraa mraa library? I tried to add mraa in File, Settings, Project Interpreter.

Do i have to install Eclipse instead?

Hello BrechtW,

I'm not familiar with PyCharm, so I'm not sure if third party libraries can use this feature. My best suggestion is that you reach out to their team so they can provide you a more accurate answer on how to do it or if it is even possible. So you should post your question in https://www.jetbrains.com/devnet/pycharm/ JetBrains :: PyCharm Dashboard.

It's great to hear that you found a way to make it work, if you ever encounter any other issues while using your board, don't hesitate to come back to the community.

PyCharm deducts autocompletion from code i've already written. So it doesn't work to a full extent.

I noticed PyCharm uses https://pypi.python.org/pypi https://pypi.python.org/pypi for autocompletion and mraa isn't in the list.
