Hi everyone,

I am trying to control my Edison via the Intel IoT Analytics Dashboard, but I can't find any examples on how to do this in C++. Can anyone give me a simple code snippet or point me to a place where I can learn. I am quite new to the Intel Edison and C++ so please walk through what the code means, that would be super helpful !

Hi mattjackson114,

I've doing some research but wasn't able to find any guide or tutorial using the Eclipse IDE. However, there's a lot information for the Arduino IDE and the XDK that you might want to check. In the following link you can find instructions for using the Arduino IDE, http://www.instructables.com/id/Intel-IoT-Analytics-Dashboard/ http://www.instructables.com/id/Intel-IoT-Analytics-Dashboard/. For the Intel XDK, check this one http://www.instructables.com/id/Sending-Temperature-Data-To-Intel-Analytics-Intel-/ http://www.instructables.com/id/Sending-Temperature-Data-To-Intel-Analytics-Intel-/. I'll keep looking for examples using the Eclipse IDE and C++. I'll let you know if I find something else.

Regards,

Pablo

Hi mattjackson114,

Have you been able to try the Analytics tutorial for Arduino? I haven't find anything related to the Eclipse IDE, but at least you can apply your C++ knowledge using the Arduino IDE.

Regards,

Pablo
