Connman and Ubilinux connection problems

After installing connman (apt-get install connman) I am unable to connect to wifi. After this I was unable to connect to wifi, so I began following the instructions found here http://www.malinov.com/Home/sergey-s-blog/intelgalileo-addingwifi Intel Galileo Meets Wireless - Malinov Family Web Presence to connect to wifi.

I am unable to use connmanctl. The command is not found. Is there anything else I must install? I assumed that there was, knowing I would need an internet connection to do this I did some troubleshooting/ attempted using wpa_supplicant to connect to the internet. Multiple times I ran into problems related to rfkill.

The output of "rfkill list all":

0: phy0: Wireless LAN

Soft blocked: yes

Hard blocked: no

1: brcmfmac-wifi: Wireless LAN

Soft blocked: yes

Hard blocked: no

2: bcm43xx Bluetooth: Bluetooth

Soft blocked: yes

Hard blocked: no

Running "rfkill unblock all" changes nothing

Finally, the output of ifconfig. I assume the absence of wlan0 is related to the soft block on the wireless connection.

I am not entirely sure if or how this information is related, but I do not know where to go from here. Any advice is appreciated.

Hello ChompChomp,

I'm not sure if https://software.intel.com/en-us/blogs/2014/04/25/wireless-galileo-on-yocto-linux-iot-devkit-image WiFi access on Intel® Galileo with Yocto* Linux works on Ubilinux, but it does in the eglibc version of Yocto. I'd suggest you to give it a shot and if you still have issues after this I'd suggest you to post your question in http://www.emutexlabs.com/forum/ubilinux EmutexLabs.

Peter.
