Curie datasheet

Jump to solution

There is no Curie forum here communities.intel.com/community/makers - so I'm asking in Edison's.

Arduino-like board with Curie announced.

As far as I know there is no public datasheet for Edison.

If Curie's datasheet will not be available also - programming it at professional level will not be possible.

So. What about to create forum for Curie?

Will datasheet for Curie public or not?

Thanks.

Hi,

For now, the information available of the Intel Curie is what can be found in the Intel Website. There are some documents with various specs found in http://download.intel.com/newsroom/kits/ces/2015/pdfs/Intel_CURIE_Module_Factsheet.pdf http://download.intel.com/newsroom/kits/ces/2015/pdfs/Intel_CURIE_Module_Factsheet.pdf . More documents are likely to be released when the Curie Module is close to the release date but for now this is the only information available.

Are there any updates on this? I looked again and the best I found was https://software.intel.com/en-us/iot/hardware/curie https://software.intel.com/en-us/iot/hardware/curie but that has at best a broken SDK waiting list and a link to zephyr-project.

It looks like the Arduino 101 has been available for sale since 2/2016.

Unfortunately not, our previous reply from what can be found about Curie is still valid. Hopefully we'll get updates on the Curie soon.

Do you know when Datasheet for Curie/ Arduino101 Chip will be released? I don't understand why Intel releases a product without documentation...

Hi randomik,

There's still not a date set for the release of the Curie module. When the module is released, the necessary documentation will be released as well.

Thank you Sergio,

but do you know what is the name of Intel module in Arduino 101 board? Arduino website says it is "Intel Curie Module" , but now you tell me that Curie is not released yet!

I have this board, but I can't find a datasheet for SoC anywhere in the web.

That's correct, the Arduino 101 has a built-in Curie chip. Currently, the Arduino 101 is the only board to feature a Curie module. The documentation of the Arduino 101 can be found in the Arduino website.

What's not released yet is the Curie module by itself. There's still no date set for when the module or its documentation will be available.

Dear Sergio,

The module is now actually available for purchase. I'd like to know if intel has now a datasheet to share. I'm working on a design and I need to know considerations of current raitings, antenna characteristics, pcb considerations, thermal disipation, etc.

Could intel curie bootloader be programed using J-LINK-EDU? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

The Intel ® Curie Module datasheet can be found in the following link . For Curie-specific questions I'd suggest you to post your questions in the Curie forum here .
