I'm designing a 3D printable Edison Case. The 3D model is done, and I've done some preliminary prints. This version is printing right now: if all goes well, I should be able to post real photos.
This was printed on an Atom based 3D printer (but not, however, edison based....yet).
Some of the salient features:
Slots for Arduino, plus all side accessible receptacles (USBx3, power, usb switch, uSD.
Light pipes for DS1-3.
Switch access for 5 on-board switches.
I'll post stl once the design is reasonably correct.
I've successfully printed the case, and everything fits. I'm attaching stl and the source Autodesk 123D files for the case (without buttons and light pipes -- still working on those).

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to point out the one I designed:
Not as pretty as tom_edison's, but it's parametric and based on a simple port cut-out model for the breakout so you can customize it to any case shape you like. Also has a reset button integrated in the top case.
