Design for a 3D printed Edison Case

I'm designing a 3D printable Edison Case. The 3D model is done, and I've done some preliminary prints. This version is printing right now: if all goes well, I should be able to post real photos.

This was printed on an Atom based 3D printer (but not, however, edison based....yet).

Some of the salient features:

Slots for Arduino, plus all side accessible receptacles (USBx3, power, usb switch, uSD.

Light pipes for DS1-3.

Switch access for 5 on-board switches.

I'll post stl once the design is reasonably correct.

I've successfully printed the case, and everything fits. I'm attaching stl and the source Autodesk 123D files for the case (without buttons and light pipes -- still working on those).

STL can be found here:

and source file for Autodesk 123D Design here:

It is not possible to download the files. This webpage has a redirect loop.

Does it work now? It downloads fine for me, but that might just be an internal vs. external URL issue.

If it's still not working, you can find the stl on thingiverse:

Any thoughts on designing a case for the mini breakout board as well?

I made one for the breakout board.

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to point out the one I designed:

Not as pretty as tom_edison's, but it's parametric and based on a simple port cut-out model for the breakout so you can customize it to any case shape you like. Also has a reset button integrated in the top case.

Nice one. Very intelligent usage of 3d printing technology.
