Developing driver for galileo platform

Jump to solution

We want to develop sample drivers (for real hw like i2c/sport) as a part of learning linux device drivers. Was wondering where do we get source code for Galileo drivers and or the specification for peripherals (such as UART/I2c). Thanks for your help in advance

Hi ecsridhar,

You can check the Intel Quark BSP from this link https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/23197/Intel-Quark-BSP https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/23197/Intel-Quark-BSP. All source files can be found following the documents in that link. You'll find instructions on how to build your own image and a Software Developer Manual, I believe that's the document that will help you the most.

Regards,

Pablo
