Thoughts on why I can't create a disk image (via Windows) on a NTFS formatted jump drive? I've tried a few and no dice! I've tried burning to a Blu Ray too but I think it needs a DVD instead... Although it seems that it will allow me to create an Image on my microSD card, right where I don't want it... FML

Please bear in mind that Intel does not support Windows images (installation-creation) because this would be a customization.
We recommend the following: create a USB recovery drive.

I would really like to have both now that I finally have a functioning Compute Stick (third time is the charm hopefully)... If I have to settle for a recovery disk I will (with fingers crossed).
Thanks!

Thank you for updating this thread. I hope you get the Intel® Compute stick working again.
