EXPANSION BOARD FOR THE INTEL® JOULE™ COMPUTE MODULE

Hi, I attached page 3 of the EXPANSION BOARD FOR THE INTEL® JOULE™ COMPUTE MODULE pdf document. This document shows the block diagram.

My question is about the level shifters used from V3P3V to V1P8V. Is there a bill of material available for the expansion board?

I never implemented a circuit board with an HDMI op and I want to make certain I'm using the correct components.

Hi bcavan,

Thanks for your interest in the Intel® Joule™ Platform.

I'm a little confused, I just checked the https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/joule-products/intel-joule-expansion-board... https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/joule-products/intel-joule-expansion-board... and on pages 24 to 27 you can find the Bill of Materials. Is there a specific component that you are looking?

Please let me know in order to assist you.

Have a nice day!

Best Regards,

Hi Jose,

I apologize for not seeing that.

I did determine the HDMI level shifter is not suited for my project. I would like to connect a 7" display to the Intel Joule however most of the displays are parallel i.e. Green 0-7, Red 0-7, Blue 0-7, which combines to 24 lines. This does not include the control lines required. I'm not clear how to connect a display like this to the Joule. Perhaps a serial display would be better. Have you experienced anyone with connecting an LCD display to the Joule?

Thanks,

Brian
