Eclipse JavaDoc / Source

Jump to solution

Hi all, I've managed to setup Eclipse to run and debug my projects on my Edison + Arduino Breakout board using both C++ and Java.

When I import and use UPM classes using C++ I can see the documentation like this:

On the other hand when importing and using classes using Java I see this:

What is the best way to have this info displayed (pointing to Javadoc if present, or attaching source)?

Thanks.

Hello gnogna82,

There is a Javadoc tool available that generates HTML documentation about a Java program. In order to do so, you must have tags throughout your Java code in order for the Javadoc tool to be able to create the HTML document. I recommend you to take a look at the following site for additional details: https://students.cs.byu.edu/~cs240ta/fall2012/tutorials/javadoctutorial.html Javadoc Tutorial

Regards,

Diego.

Hello gnogna82,

Let me check if I'm able to find information about this. If I find anything I'll post it here.

Diego.
