If you are tracking http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/meta-intel-edison/ meta-intel-edison - Layer for the Intel Edison Development Platform like me you may have noticed the latest commit pulls the linux kernel 3.10.98 from github.
I guess we would be one or 2 commits away from updaing the setup.sh file to pull a more recent http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/meta-intel-iot-middleware/log/ meta-intel-iot-middleware - Shared middleware recipes for Intel IoT platforms which currently would provide mraa 0.9 and upm 0.4.1.
That would probably warrant to tag the Edison Yocto image 2.2.
Finally!

Hi
We don't discuss future releases exact dates. Edison engineers are working on kernel and BSP updates and commits are published to github in the link https://github.com/01org/edison-linux/commits/wip-edison-3.19.5 https://github.com/01org/edison-linux/commits/wip-edison-3.19.5
