Hello

Does anyone know how to boot edison in fastboot mode ?

Usually android devices/boards can be booted in fastboot mode --> by pressing volume down key during boot time.

Thanks

Sangi

Hi sangi,

After some research I found that Fastboot Mode is a protocol used to update the flash file system in Android devices (see https://www.kingoapp.com/help/fastboot-mode.htm What is Fastboot Mode). Since Edison is not an Android device there is no Fastboot Mode in Edison.

On the other hand, I also found that Fastboot is used to re-flash partitions on the device, so if what you want to do is re-flashing your Edison, I recommend you to check the following document where there is a description about flashing the Edison module with the Yocto image:

Regards,

Diego
