Hi, I am trying to connect intel edison to my windows laptop.My laptop is unable to detect the edison drive(D:).When I open the device manager, it says there are no drivers installed for Merrifield.Please help me to solve the problem.

Are you using the mini breakout board or the Arduino expansion board? Make sure you've assembled your board accordingly and then follow these steps https://software.intel.com/en-us/get-started-edison-windows-32-step2 IoT - Step 2: Install drivers | Intel® Developer Zone . If you're not successful, post a screenshot of the section of where you're getting the error
