Edison wake up using RESET line

Hi Intel,

Is it possible to wake up Intel Edison module using the RESET line? If yes, please tell me how to do it the correct way.

I am asking this because i have used both serial interrupts and gpio interrupts to wake up Edison from "mem" state, but both are inconsistent.

EDIT: I have checked this link: , which says a pressing the button momentarily while in sleep would wake up edison. Please confirm.

regards,

Vinu

Hi vinu_gk,

Thank you for contacting us. I believe you mean the Power button (SW1UI2), not the Shield Reset button, is this correct? The power button has some functionality related to sleep mode.

If this is the case, then yes, pressing the Power button (SW1UI2) will wake the Edison from sleep. We performed a brief test in which we uploaded a sketch to make a LED blink. When the Edison entered sleep mode, the LED stopped blinking. We used SW1UI2 while the Edison was in sleep mode and as a result, the LED started blinking again, just the same as it did when the Edison was taken out of sleep mode via terminal.

Let us know if you see the same results.
