Hello vianney,

Since you built the image that is currently running on your Edison, it could happen that the wpa_supplicant service is not running. Show us a screen shot of the following commands:

systemctl status wpa_supplicant

ls /lib/systemd/system | grep wpa_supplicant

But if you wish to format your Edison, I suggest you to reflash the board to the latest image with Flash Tool Lite. Both the Edison's image and Flash Tool Lite can be found in https://software.intel.com/en-us/iot/hardware/edison/downloads Intel® Edison Downloads. You will also find a guide on how to use Flash Tool Lite on the same link.

Peter.

I still have the same problem with vianney ,and I still cannot soulve it.

My problem is that if I connect edison board to a totally new wifi,it does work well.

But when I connect to a wifi that edison connected before,I tried a lot of times to connect, but still cannot connect successfully.

It bothers me two days,I wish @Intel_Peter or somebody can help out.

Hi warrior,

Could you please let me know which image are you using? Did you make sure to flash the latest version? It can be found here: https://software.intel.com/en-us/iot/hardware/edison/downloads

Try flashing your board to the latest version and let us know if the issue persists.

-Peter.
